Re: “#CombatChristmas Toys For Lil Troops

This just seems wrong. So many people are actually dying and being terrorized because of war. Treating it like a game and profiting from it doesn't seem like a good way to support kids with deployed parents (and they are not 'Lil Troops!' they are kids. ) Others are volunteering their time and money to encourage families not to buy war toys and turn our culture from a culture of violence. Hard Knocks seems to be exploiting peoples natural sympathy for military families (and perhaps guilt for failing to prevent them from being deployed needlessly) for their own promotion and profit. Of course the real war profiteers and play war profiteers have a symbiotic relationship. This sugarcoating of war helps perpetuate violence and is NOT in the redemptive spirit of the holidays! Military families would be better served by our questioning this superficial exploitation.
