"Are these people serious? That's close to $32,000 a year for a 40 hour work week. I know people with college degrees who don't make that much in their current (professional) jobs." Sounds like this commenter got it backwards. Getting $32,000/year for 40hrs/week is enough to be comfortable for a single person in most parts of the country. That's not too much to ask but it sounds like those degree holders working in their field aren't making what they're worth either. If the top 1% of wage earners weren't hogging 50% of the nations wealth wages could come up at all levels. Remember who the real enemy is.
