Certainly parents were upset but the intro misrepresents the tone & what occurred. Parents from Carrboro were informed the Monday prior that 2 options would be discussed @ this meeting then voted on in late November; 1.) move all traditional tracks, or 2.) move all dual-language tracks. Parents were upset because these are not "options"...it is the same result, taking the only elementary school in the town of Carrboro, a center-piece to the community, & cutting it in half.
