Re: “Conceal-carry permit holders can now bring guns into restaurants and bars. What could go wrong?

So I got a "dislike" on my comment .... that is typical.
I used FACTS. Not maybes, not emotion, not what someone else said.
Most anti-gunners tend to hate it when we argue with facts.
Because you just can't argue with the truth!

Re: “Conceal-carry permit holders can now bring guns into restaurants and bars. What could go wrong?

For a "journalist", you're quite the idiot.
Your own "article" against carrying also provides the best answers to your argument for carrying.
Not being armed does deprive us of the ability to protect ourselves.
Every mass shooting since the 1950s has happened in a gun free zone ( single exception in 63 years was Gabby Giffords, but there were many other federal crimes before the fact).
Least likely to commit a crime ... yep. FBI, CDC, DOJ ... all of them have statistics that prove this.
The comment about " mentally ill with a gun" .... It takes 4-6 weeks to get a concealed carry permit because of the mental health background checks.
In your opening scenario ( the "stoners") hmmm, druggies, already showing a propensity for crime by breaking the law by doing drugs.

BTW- There has NEVER been a posted sign that stopped a crime.
Good people with guns do it all the time.
