There is one thing that you might add to update this very informative article. It is one of the facts that have emerged from all the recent exposure on the web concerning wealth inequality in America. You mentioned the 65 billion personal wealth of one of the Waltons, but the thing that really convinced me to join the boycott was learning how the wealth of this one family is equivalent to the combined wealth of the 48 Million poorest families in America! That is outrageous 1 to 48,000,000. The sad irony of this, is that those 48 million families probably do most of their shopping at Walmart. As for lower prices, well, I don't find that to be true. Go to Fry's (Kroger) , buy only items from their weekly sales paper and you'll beat Walmart every time. And for non food items (electronics and such) Check their price then ask at other retailers if they will match it . A lot of them will! Often just to spite Walmart...
