Guess what, the DWR/DWQ merger has to cut 15% of its FTE positions. Good bye clean water!
"PART XXXV. COMBINE THE DIVISION OF WATER QUALITY AND THE DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES TO CREATE A NEW DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES AND MAKE CONFORMING CHANGES
SECTION 35.(a) The Department of Environment and Natural Resources shall combine the Division of Water Quality and the Division of Water Resources to create a new Division of Water Resources."
What a coincidence that the DWQ Director just suddenly chose to resign of his own volition with no apparent external influence...
Nobody finds this interesting? This wasn't part of anyone's planned retirement that's for sure.
