Full statement from the Susan Evans campaign:
A vote is a vote. When she voted for HB2 in March, Sen. Barringer knew what she was doing. She knew the legal and economic consequences her constituents would experience. Only now that she's in danger of losing her seat does she waffle. Her latest change of mind is certainly not a change of heart. It's a purely political move designed to make voters forget that she is responsible for the loss of jobs and millions of dollars in economic investment in her district. The voters of Senate District 17 are highly educated. They won't be fooled in November, and Sen. Barringer will pay the price by losing reelection to Susan Evans. Susan is running to renew North Carolina's promise and make us a leader in the South again. Barringer and Gov. McCrory have not kept that promise the last four years. In the Senate, Susan will fight to restore the values that make our state so great.

Your "grassroots explosion" of five online commenters is about as real as one of your daily acid trips, Carmichael. If that's your definition of grassroots, we're going to keep losing elections for decades to come.
