Re: “Who will rein in the General Assembly?

The Federal Government needs to declare North Carolina a foreign State and imprison McCroy, Berger, Tillis, Goosby and the Republican legislature without bond and declare martial law. All elections will need Federal marshals to oversee voting. The conflict of interests with the gambling industry, the pollution of our waters, the dismantling of our education system, the rejection of Medicaid, food stamps, and unemployment benefits should be grounds enough for imprisonment. These are crimes against mankind and we will need an outside party, law firms, or Federal government to recover from these criminals. The hoopla in Greensboro with the millionaires and billionaires will be to rig voting machines. Watch for a new vendor for voting tabulation to be on the agenda next. I propose the new state motto--"NO MORE REPUBLICANS ELECTED IN THIS CENTURY".

Re: “Better than the Senate version, the House budget is still bad

Is the goal to create a migration out of North Carolina to an area where the welfare of the public should be a prime concern? The ideas brought forward are cruel, unjust, and an attack on North Carolina citizens. Only the wealthy, rich political Art Pope followers will benefit from any House or Senate proposals for North Carolina. Perhaps an exit North Carolina agenda is what these criminals truly want. What a shame for this State.

Re: “Who's the moron? Sen. Thom Goolsby on the protests he calls "Moron Mondays"

I'm amazed that Mr. Warren's comments made it pass the censor. But then again, we seem to be used to this type of absurdity as we have tried to interact with similar Mr. Warren type that are in the General Assembly.

Re: “Moral Monday is a class struggle, not a racial one

Most would prefer that this Legislature follow the NC State Constitution that represents the people of NC and not dismantle the entire State into a haven for the upper 1% as highjacked by Art Pope and the Kock brothers. Perhaps you are unaffected, ProudlyUnaffiliated, and are extremely wealthy and reaping the benefits of this corrupt body of turn-coats. If so, maybe your moral obligation could be to help others less fortunate. Your picture posting seems to sum up your attitudes. Wishing you the best and thank you for your opinion.

Re: “151 arrested at Moral Monday protest

In a move of extreme empathy for the rights of all citizens, South Carolina sent at least two buses of a labor union to assist North Carolina with our fight for human and constitutional rights for all citizens. Strange that Goolsby (Wilmington), Tillis, Berger, McCroy and others in the this immoral corrupt legislature can turn a deaf ear to its own citizens, while proud, and many elderly citizens from South Carolina, gave their day for this great injustice to North Carolina. Please let us make sure that this current "unmoved" legislative body (by their words and actions) NEVER have the pleasure of serving North Carolina again. Thank you, South Carolina, for bringing your support, hopes and dreams to assist us.

Re: “Public Schools First NC is sounding the alarm

So I suppose devinhedge, in his thrown together web sites to support his views, would likewise support cutting off teacher aides in schools, eliminating teacher tenure, amending the State Personnel Act as a way to eliminate grievances of workers denied rights, eliminating Judges in districts so that appeals can be thrown back to the State Personnel Commission and eliminated, diverting public tax money for private school vouchers (using the slick guise that the GA will look at school lunch subsidy students first), and eliminating testing and ranking in private "charter" schools, etc. Perhaps he (she) could read the North Carolina State Constitution that guarantees a public school education for citizens of the State of NC. Come devinhedge, are you not Tillis, Berger and McCroy in disguise?

Re: “Why I'm protesting at the Legislature

Well written, well stated, and thank you for your service to assist the greater cause of the human condition as it currently exists in North Carolina.
