Huh...another misinformed, misquoted article by Indy. It wasn't the same "reporter" but Indy did an article on my son's school that was also a negative tone full of quotes from disgruntled exes and misquotes from current parents and students. Every organization is going to have its issues, especially while going through growing pains. I have been to Goathouse a number of times and have never seen anything negative. In fact, I loved the place so much that I felt comfortable enough to bring 2 kittens that were born to a feral cat in my backyard there. I knew that they would have a great life there if for some reason they were not adopted. Siglinda is a wonderful woman with a passion for animals.
David G - Animal lovers love all animals...even the carnivores! If you want to curb the "damage" cats do to the ecosystem, then I suggest you hassle the people that don't spay / neuter their animals and breeders. They are a huge cause of the overpopulation. Maybe you could also support groups like Ally Cat Allies that TNR (Trap Neuter Return) feral cats to help prevent over population.
I am not a regular reader of Indy but I have had close ties to 2 articles now and both were negative articles full of half truths and some outright lies. I will never believe anything written by this paper.
