Re: “Why Aqua NC customers are furious about their service

Mr. Roberts,
I appreciate that you have pride in the company you work for - as we all should.

But I invite you to spend a month at my home in the Holly Brook subdivision off Kildaire Farm Road, Apex. I'd like for you to see how much you enjoy the following: keeping several pitchers on the counter in the kitchen to save every drop of water if you want to run it until it gets warm or heating large pans of water on the stove so that you don't have to run excess water; turning on the water long enough to get wet in the shower, turn it off, lather up, then turn back on to rinse; taking your clothes somewhere else to wash to keep your water cost down and your clothes from getting dingy; using a rain barrel connected to your gutters for simple plant watering; powerwash your average size deck and get almost a $60 increase in that month's bill; having a water bill that is automatically $44 per month before you even use one drop of water; trying not to flush the toilet unless it's absolutely necessary; knowing each time you fill up a glass you are being charged for 3 glasses of water; an assessment to provide for two other subdivisions I don't even live in, knowing the value of my home that I need to sell this year will be severely compromised due to the water bill, and the list goes on. Please do come visit for awhile.
