It shows the ignorance of Lawmakers in NC. They say the state needs more revenue, yet they are willing to throw away the tax revenue recieved from the Sweepstakes business and though we are one of the highest states in unemployment, they want to put the 14,000 people employed by the sweepstakes industry on unemployment.
Furthermore, these games operate exactly the same as the "North Carolina Educational Lottery" so if the Sweepstakes are illegal, SO IS THE LOTTERY. Let's see it closed also.
Who are they anyway to tell me how I can spend my money, they dont tell me how they spend the taxes that I pay them.
