Well done, Governor Perdue, and well said. Your remarks express with clarity and conviction, the grievous wrongs done by our state and our justice system to ten people, ten human beings whose lives were thrown into turmoil, pain, suffering and despair, out of a fierce dedication to white supremacy and enforcement of a systematic oppression poisoning the juidicial system along with every institution of our society. It is never too late to do the right thing, and I salute your action, and your strong, clear, unequivocal words on the subject. How sad I am that we took so long to make this right. How glad i am that you stood up and spoke out to do so, today, forevermore, because it is never ever too late to do the right thing. Now they begin a new chapter and so do we. Gratitude and praise for this action and your statement from a born and raised North Carolinian.
