Such a shame that the greatest name in ice cream has fallen so very low: trying to make it with CORN SYRUP instead of sugar like in Texas when I was growing up there. They must have been bought out and degraded by some big conglomerate! Texans everywhere who've been boasting for years about the high quality of the stuff from the little creamery in Brenham are now seriously embarrassed!! First the outsiders buy and destroy the original Lone Star beer, and now they've killed true Texas ice cream. I guess we'll all continue to remember the Alamo, and we'll remember Blue Bell but we just won't ever buy it again!
