"Amusing. With one exception, this was essentially the Democratic party ticket, including judicial and bond issues. Can you explain what value you provide to voters above just going to the Dem party website?"
Really good questions. Unfortunately, I haven't taken the time to research every candidate for every race (Ag anyone?) and based on the Independent's history of social justice and shared responsibility I am willing to take their word on on the less sexy races, and it just so happens that the democrats appear to be fielding candidates who seem more appealing than the republicans. I'd love to see more independent candidates but we have to make do with what we have in elections, anyone want to run my campaign?
Besides, republicans in general wanted to pass the constitutional amendment banning marriage equality and I wouldn't want to vote for anyone who spent millions adding a constitutional amendment against something that was already illegal in NC and did little but sully our national reputation.
In all disclosure - I'm in the wedding Industry and would have loved the extra work, instead people are traveling to f*cking New Hampshire. New Hampshire!!!
