David, I stand corrected. Looks as if potato is 19thC modification to basic salt pork, fish, bread. I have been misled and misleading.
Love his soups. But a chowder is defined by potatoes.
They took credit cards when I was there a couple weeks ago, twice. And 'undeniably on the higher end of the price scale for a seafood joint' is meaningless if not misleading. Where else in the region or beyond can you get well-prepared fresh-from-the-coast fish to take away for under $10 or so?
