Re: “Mitt Romney's contortion of the truth

It is a sad fact that people like Weiler and others take the Romney camp to task, while allowing Obama and his Superpacs to publish complete and utter falsehoods. I am from Chicago, and we live, and have lived, with the same BS that Obama and his camp spew daily. We laugh at the ignorant masses that blindly say, "yea, thats right, make up someother lie". For those that do not understand, that's the way it is done in Chicago. If you try and voice a contradictory opinion, they will besmurch your reputation as fast as they can. Simple facts like Romney caused a woman to get cancer, or Romney personally closed down factories and offshored work, etc. should stretch even the most blind and bigoted individuals sense of ethics and morality. Yet, no one in the media will even proffer a simple overture to question the comment. These statements insult us as Americans, and open the door to foreign people articulating comments that describe us as dysfunctional, and generating more hate of America. You want change, than affect real change. Return public service to what it was - a public service, not a life time career. Take away the profit in serving, and you will see it return to a more noble service. Limit all roles to one term, and limit the compensation, then people will take the role for the pure spirit of it. Until then, stop with the corrupt, hypocritical messages about "Hope & Change", where "Hope & Change" mean that it is your turn to pillage and fleece America!
