Re: “An account of the Republican budget disaster in the General Assembly

"ProudlyUnaffiliated "

That was most bizarre commentary about the budget. It's ignorant of the history of why we have medicaid in the first place. Public education took literacy rates from below 50% to around 98%. It was key to our modern economy, our modern education system, and strangely enough the near eradication of hook work infection and goiters in this state.

You don't like the English language, and you don't understand economic systems, but why would you inflict so many evils against your neighbors because you suffer from such a broad illusion of complexity with regard to Federal, State and local systems, and the basic history of our nation, state and laws?

Re: “Amendment 1 opponents: "Our fight for fairness is not over."

Sometimes Godwin's Law has to show up:
Marriages between Jews and citizens (German: Staatsangehörige) of German or kindred blood are forbidden. Marriages concluded in defiance of this law are void, even if, for the purpose of evading this law, they were concluded abroad.
--Section 1.1 of the Nuremberg Laws

Rome passed laws against Christian marriages and they martyred Bishop Valentine over the effort.
