Finally, people with some sense. I have lived in NC all my life. I chose to go to Iraq when my country needed me. I did not go because of GOD, whether it was my god or any other god. I went for my country and my state. NC really is a great state. Our flaw is that some of us are afraid of change. To avoid this many of us revert back to religion. We really should not do this. Our differences is what makes this country great. Look around we have people of all religion and all races living in this country making it the most powerful nation in the world.
We have one thing in common, and that is we are all Americans. My brothers and sisters, please don't fear these differences. Enough about what the bible or any other religion says. We are a great nation and other countries hates us because of it.
For further prove that our difference is our strength, just pay attention to this years Olympic games. I can't wait to see Team USA mop the floor with the other nations. On the flip side other countries athletes looks identical to one another. No two of our athletes will be identical. Other countries don't stand a chance in the medal standings.
What happened to separation of church and state. Not everyone in NC is Christian. Stop using religion as an excuse to support politics. I'm not a Christian, but I don't use religion to support political decisions. Gays are not hurting anyone. I'm tired of people trying to push their religion on to everything and everyone.
