Re: “Sen. Rucho's fast track to fracking”

As a registered Republican Woman, I am appalled by the tactics of our Representatives in taking away communities rights and powers, the carefree attitude of the environmental impact and the down right dirty handed way they are passing these bills. By allowing Fracking, we are exposing our state to more Earthquakes, Polluted water systems in our homes, lakes and rivers and More POLLUTED AIR than we are ALREADY breathing! There are MUCH better ways of creating jobs and improving the states income. Why on earth they haven't considered imposing a state import excise tax on imported textiles is beyond me! This state has lost so much industry because our Representatives are just plain bought out by lobbyist! It's time that WE THE PEOPLE stand up and DEMAND our state clean up their act, impose taxes where it really makes since, quit imposing more taxes on the working citizens that are ALREADY OVER TAXED and give our own NC/USA industries the breaks they need to come back.
