@Gloe44...please do not assume you speak for all Christians. The Bible is not literal. Divine inspiration does not come from a book that didn't exist until after the time of Christ. Inspiration comes from God. Please do not assume you speak anywhere other than from your own prejudice. The Bible has been used for centuries to uphold the prejudices of the times. It was once used to deny people the right to vote, interracial couples to marry, slaves to marry, minority childrens attendence in white schools, naziism, the crusades, adultery, etc. As a matter of fact, according to the gospels, any man or woman who divorces and marries another is committing adultery. Before you assume people who do not believe as you have not "read their Bibles", take a moment to read it to understand what it says about people who would use it under false pretenses to further their own misguided beliefs. And, in my house, the Bible is capitalized. Anything less is disrespectful and an afront to God.
