Vote to fire Obama.
Let me say it-- your President has failed, in epic fashion, I might add. This train wreck of ObamaCare, which began harming the nation about Jan. 2011 with the loss of jobs and hours getting cut, has still not come close to peaking to its full damage and destruction yet.
While the web site has been farcical (they still had 30-40% of the web site not completed when they rolled it out...WTeff?), the people in the _individual_ health insurance market are losing their insurance and getting massive sticker shock at their new "options" under ObamaCare. The nation is stunned at this whole episode and it is reflected in the polls, as we might expect. And remember, Obama delayed the employer mandate by a year and hence employer-provided health plans, which constitute many group plans.
And everything about ObamaCare gets worse, much worse, from here for the American people. Just watch as this proceeds. As a preview of coming attractions for 2014, about mid summer into Sept, people in employer/group plans will be receiving their "hope and change" letters that cancel their policies and throw them into the ObamaCare exchange/web site, something they thought they had avoided. The problem we see now will be magnified by about a factor of seven. Expect a tidal wave of anxiety and restlessness. Consider buying futures in anti-depressant drug companies to make some money off the misery.
How dare you bring some of our beloved founders, men of principle and courage, into the same article with Obama? This utter failure and pretender of a president can stake no claim to anything now that his 'signature achievement' has done this level harm to the American people. The only silver lining is that now every American can look in the mirror, decide what their major life's achievements have been, pick a no 1, 'signature' achievement and realize with full confidence that no matter how small that may seem it VASTLY exceeds what Obama has done for his signature achievement.
Failure, Let down, Disaster, Liar, Loser. And I am referring to Obama. But keep preaching to the adoring choir up to and through the Nov. 2014 elections. You ain't seen nothing yet.
I support a woman's right to chose. 9mm or .45 ACP as she wishes.
Whoa! You leftists are failing, epically I might add.
The Obama/Kerry "plan" (more of a notion that opens up war across the mideast) is such an obvious snake oil sales job that it is sickening. Do you wonder why 91% of Americans oppose war with Syria yet it is not a slam dunk in the Congress to stop this madness?
Fortunately, the right has picked up the ball and has run with it, dissecting the lies Obama/Kerry are telling the world. Also, fortunately, the Obama administration is so wonderfully inept that they can't keep a version of the story together for more than a day or so before they have to tap dance to change the narrative. For once, I am thankful that Obama is the master of ceremonies of amateur hour.
http://stormcloudsgathering.com/ explains what is happening. This youtube video summarizes the facts in evidence, watch and decide for yourself. But support Obama here and never come back and talk about peace again because you will have no credibility after supporting Obama's War.
And, oh yes, silence is support. You cannot vote "Present."
Boy, are you people gullible. Obama doesn't care about "economic equality" or the people or their jobs or their freedom or any of the stereotypical leftist memes. He cares about power, having it and using it as much as he can, when he is not golfing. Thankfully, Obama is constrained by circumstances and his own limitations.
But he can deliver a good speech, can't he?
The Libertarian Party is a diverting sideshow. While their main focus is at elections, where they huff and puff and blow nothing down while getting none of their people elected, they also excel at accomplishing nothing legislatively. In short, they are an old and tired joke and for a leftie rag like IndyWeek to cite them as some sort of evidence of the "badness" of a simple law that tightens up election protocol to minimize fraud seems pretty lame to me.
Who else can you get to say that the sky is falling? This is embarrassing for you guys.
@ Larry R.-- there has not been an Arab spring. Only a radical Muslim uprising that was sadly and prematurely mischaracterized by some as a democratic upswing. It remains totalitarian to this day. And your implicit comparison/labeling of the Republicans as Taliban is way old school, goes back to the 1990's, even predating 9/11. Lame, very lame. Please be more creative and descriptive.
Seems like the new election rules apply to everyone, not just Democrats. Why does this disadvantage Democrats? Please explain in detail. Sure, most of your audience is lefty and assumes the worst but this is not a clear case against these new election regulations. You like regulations, don't you? Why are these bad ones? Just taking Hall's screeching hysterical word for it is not gonna fly. Details.
