This article leaves me wanting to know what I can do about it. As a student, you hear about things like this happening, but the details are sparse and then you graduate and move on. Students complain and try to help the housekeepers, but all the university has to do is take their time "dealing" with it, and then the student turnover takes care of the rest.
I am a graduate of UNC, and I live in Durham. I want to help. I want to ask the chancellors of Duke, NCCU, and UNC what they are doing to support the housekeepers. I want to know why Duke isn't paying for Sebastiana Flores' work-related injuries.
