Excellent, per usual. Industry rages on. We distract ourselves and then get enmeshed in the fleshiness of the story you tell - particularly the way you evoke the sense of smell when describing the Nissan Leaf commercial. This immersion makes it difficult to stay distracted. That is to say, I appreciate your words. Global capitalism is a creative force, and I share your cautious optimism ... although today it sounds more like hopeful cynicism. Or am I projecting? I don't think consumption will get us out of this fix, but it will take us somewhere. In the meantime, I'd like some more help from the slime please.
