Well Planet, seems you have fallen victim to the rhetoric. If you want to leave yourself totally defenseless no one is going to stop you, but for myself I'd rather not leave my family completely open to the crazies. Anyone who has been through the training understands just showing a weapon opens them to an entire set of legal problems, let alone doing the cowboy hero thing. The last choice in any situation is use the handgun, but as Eve Carson might have been aware in the last moments of her life, sometimes there may be no other option.
