It is always good to have an escape from reality in this day. And who better to provide escape than the Pied Piper of non-reality that is Adam Sandler. Come on.... Billy Madison? Not oscar worthy for sure. Punch Drunk Love; Seriously? Happy Gilmore, Spanglish, 50 first dates, Chuck and Larry, Zohan, Click, Deeds, Waterboy, Nicky.... the list goes on. Sure, some of these are cult (and my)favorites, but none award worthy. What do they all have in common? Escapism from the crappy reality. We all need such an escape from time to time. And luckily, Sandler puts one out every 1.5-2 years! lol
