1) I don't know exactly where "economic forestry" and "don't-touch environmentalism" can be fully reconciled - it's a long-standing, national/global debate. Not Local !
2) I am acquainted with Kevin Bryce (TLC) and Jerry Gaertner (North State Forestry), and know them both to be people of integrity, not given to cloaked agendas, vested interests, or greed.
3) The more I read the article, the more I feel it is a meticulously engineered form of "Gotcha" Journalism.
This Evening, I hiked (first time) at White Pines Reserve, down to the Rocky and Deep Rivers; AMAZING !
