Both G., and I have spoken with Becky at the Koka Booth regarding ticket sales. Ticket sales are very low compared to the expense of the Koka Venue and is suggesting that we reschedule the benefit concert for June after OutRaleigh. I feel that it's in the best interest to the LGBT Center of Raleigh, NCCADV, SWOOP and the Susan G. Komen Foundation to take the advice of several business associates as well as Becky and move the concert date to June.
Im sure everyone knows how important this concert is to us, and the time that we have taken off to promote the event. I hope that you will join us in June when we can get more committed ticket sales from individuals. I am sorry for any inconvenience that this causes anyone. It saddens us to have to do this, but it's what's best for everyone's interest.
Joann & G.
