One aspect of The Tonk I appreciate is the band member's willingness to stretch themselves. Taylor, for example, is playing drums for the first time and Lane's approach to the pedal steel, also his first time with the instrument, is clearly reverent, not gimmicky.

On another note: How much do lightening rods cost? How many would it take to make WakeMed Soccer Park "safe?" Is there a better solution to dealing with the growing frequency of these storms?
Please, who are the ones trying "to arrogate excuses?" The journalists peppering the coach & players during post-game interviews are begging for sound bites that sound like excuses. Did they get them? I don't think so.
The salaciousness of Hess's protocol gaff only adds insult to "N.C. State’s woeful effort and chronic shortcomings." No one's claiming it as an excuse. It's just wrong on the face of it.
