Barry, thanks so much for this. You not only brought proper perspective to yesterday's results, you paid proper tribute to this city which I have not only adopted but married. I was one of the musicians outside FullSteam last night, and I was also thrilled by the "you can't get us down" spirit.

One small correction: the musicians you saw outside FullSteam were actually a mashup of members of both The Bulltown Strutters (my band) and the Blue Tailed Skinks. The two bands had also joined forces that same morning at 4:30 a.m. to represent for equal rights during the NBC 17 live remote for the Today Show on the CCB Plaza.
