My God, this is a fabulous restaurant. My grandmother sent me a clipping from the NYTimes Magazine about it, and so my husband and I checked it out tonight: tamales with delicious side salad, BBQ plate, collards, pickles, ham plate, fried green tomatoes. A beautiful presentation and everything was delicious! Very friendly staff. Will return many times! I would suggest getting there early - they had run out of pork ribs and most pies by 7pm on Friday night.
