The most heavenly, eyeball-rolling, daily-baked pita anywhere. I come from the same part of the world as Jamil, the owner, and when I first tasted the bread that they only started producing a year ago, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Just like the bread my dear Mom used to make (psst...even better!) I would give the place 5 stars for their bread, but they have got to find a way to keep the food platters in the restaurant's display cases from looking so sloppy.
Wow, she speaks well. I hope someone will tell her to NOT accept the prosecutors "deal" in exchange for a milder sentence. It's a gamble, but Zaina sounds like she's willing to go all the way with this. When I was arrested during Occupy Chapel Hill I refused to accept the deal. The judge listened to my plea and called my resistance to excessive power an action of civil disobedience. No sentence, no court charges. It does depend on the judge, but I felt more empowered speaking the truth instead of allowing my half-wit lawyer to finagle a deal for me. Best of luck to Zaina too.
