Curious... I could have substituted the Art Pope companies and products stated in this article with anything from Walmart, CVS, Foodlion, Target, McDonalds/Burger King/Hardees, pawnshops, Marshalls or a thousand other chains that do the same thing. Yet this article appears to be a smear campaign (fussing about a perceived or real smear campaign Popes money --- not Pope himself -- seems to be hypocritical).
Can you tell me at what point any consumer walking into his stores was forced to do so? Can you tell me in a universe where the Popes magically didn't exist, how things would be one iota different?
Thoughtful commentary is one thing. Witchhunts should be relegated to history books. Did any of the authors (journalists? I think not) interview Pope directly?
