Stupid inbreds like Paul Stam are why this state has a stereotype of being full of toothless Deliverance-type residents with a 4th grade education. Stam's (R) legislature is doing a good job of making the state live up to that perception. This is because his (R) buddies comprise most of the folks that fit the Deliverance stereotype. A few more years with these guys in charge and this state will be a 3rd world style dump. Can't wait to vote them out.

Let me add that Arizona's open carry law actually is WHY Giffords was shot, it allowed this flake to carry a weapon to her rally, and would have been taken away at the security search if they had stricter gun laws. A LACK of gun regulation led to the Arizona shooting. Same for Virginia, as Cho's gun was purchased LEGALLY at a gun show. When everyone gets to carry a gun, it just means more wackos with weapons, by the law of probability.

Yo BH, you don't know too much about gun safety. Even police cannot open fire at a target unless you have a backstop and clear shot at the target to avoid killing bystanders. A bunch of yahoos with limited gun training opening fire in a crowd is what you would have had in both instances, especially the Gifford case. You'd have wound up with 20 or 30 dead instead of 4. And Arizona already had open carry anyway, so it still didn't help. You are a moron.
