I don't know much about Sebadoh, but I do know that COC needs to reissue Animosity. THAT is a classic.
We ordered two pizzas from Lilly's yesterday: one was average/decent and the other was a gruesome, inedible mess.
Confessor is so rad.
These guys killed it at Casbah on Tuesday.
Thanks to Joe and Andrew for shedding some light on this situation. Also thanks to Rick Hester for enforcing the cleanup on this dump. As of April 12th, it appears that some effort has been made to finally scrape the debris off of the property.
Awesome.
Re: “U.S. History According to Charles Koch: The conservative billionaire could be teaching your kids”
The talking points that I heard from the wingers during the Amendment debate were irrefutable proof to me that you can say anything to an angry person and if it sounds good to them, they will repeat it as fact over and over again. That's why I don't like the idea of slimeballs with huge agendas trying to change the face of history. You can see it here in these comments: if you steep yourself in idiotic radio babble for hours a week, anything that is said to you will be evidence of liberal self-loathing.
I remember during the run-up to the Amendment, hearing people talk about how the founding fathers wrote the Constitution to reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ because they had been saved. Where did they learn this? And they also believed that because everyone is entitled to an opinion, that they were right, of course. Next come the creationist science books and climate change/monsanto indoctrinations.
