I had a Vitamin D Deficiency. Weekly, I took 50,000 iu of a Prescription Vitamin D. It really made a difference. All my life I was told that the sun is bad for you, therefore; Sunscreen (No Wrinkles So Thats a Good Reason) to block the Sun. Lack of Vitamin D. I lived in SC, until about 6 months ago. It was a rural community, with stores that sold straight from the farm, milk (goat or cow). Since the Dr told me that it would take approx 500 8oz glasses of milk daily to overcome my deficiency I looked into the possibility of Raw Milk Vs Pasteurized. I started drinking a glass for breakfast and a glass before bed. My Vitamin D Levels started coming up, also my energy levels increased. I have used the grocery store product for years, but as far as taste you cant beat the Raw Milk. Also, since I had this problem for a few years and took the prescription, plus drank the milk and enjoyed the sunshine; I feel much better, have more energy and no longer take a prescription. So now the problem of finding the milk in NC.
