The abortion issue is an issue of healthcare. The fact is that women are always going to have abortions. They can either be legal and SAFE or illegal and BACKALLEY.
and when i say backalley, I mean with wire hangers and sticks shoved into their bodies, bleach being drunk, hiring people to cause them to abort the fetus through ways like punching them in the stomach and shoving them down stairs.
in a perfect world abortion wouldnt exist, but we don't live in a perfect world. WAKE UP!
access to abortion is access to healthcare.
it is a human right.
just because, brent, youre never going to undergo it doesnt mean it isn't a right i shouldnt have.
furthermore, I'm wondering why the comments on this well researched and written article were automatically relegated to abortion.
i'm pro-choice. but the choice isn't just to NOT have children. it's the choice TO HAVE them as well.
To look at it any other way would be ignoring the racism and classism of the eugenics movement and ignoring the intersectionality of all people's identity.
