Fuck that INDIE-ROCK shit....this is the kind of band that they should have at the HOPSCOTCH Festival!!! But because they're not hipsters with gnarley beards, the INDY won't let 'em play. They'd rather bring in some punk band from Canada than give anyone local, who's not 'in with the in-crowd', a chance. I've been reading THE INDY for 6 years and although I usually enjoy it, their musical bias is sickening at times.

Last time I checked, we were supposed to have a SEPARATION of Church and State in this country. I'm a bisexual male who grew up under the shadow of conservative Christianity, which I wholeheartedly rejected at age 16. I'm also a tax-paying American citizen who doesn't like the idea of having someone else's religious beliefs pushed onto me. I don't tell you what to believe or how to worship, so you shouldn't have the right to tell me who I can marry!

I live in Raleigh and I would really like to perform at this Festival. It's a great idea and I hope all the permits get approved.
