Goof afternoon, I am a parent, brother, mentor, and son. I think this article was horrible to be the cover story for the Independent Weekly. We have more interesting things going on in the state of NC than to give light to this non-sense. What about giving stories of everyday people doing positive things for their communities, citys, and etc... This is a factor to why a lot of people stop reading and purchasing the paper of anykind. The "news" is shallow and more entertaining than informative.
