Check this out people the Republicans always add their little tidbits in a program that should be passed, but can't because of these mini pork projects!! Doing stuff like this is one of the seasons why it took this long for them to get into power on capital hill!!! Now look at where they are trying to lead us to! Always on the negative no matter what's the cause. They always want to oppose simple programs that will cost us the tax payer's money! These oppositions runs a long time with both parties picking at and revising a little here and a little there, but it's costing us big time.
That's why they need to lose this type of bickering and sat down and listen to logic, and work togather on coming up with a compromise that everybody's pleased with!
The previous comments makes a lot of sense to me,and should be taken to heart! The way I would suggest they handle this is, the people that don't sign into the program's low cost now and having to get the insurance at a later date should be charged penalties!!In light of them having to apply later because their group lost trying to block it is the way to go!? I'll bet they will say that this too is unconstitutional! We can't mold everybody's rights into this insurance plan obligation so they can have it their way!
I'm happy to hear that some people are taking notice of these business and getting the word out to be more cautious and think before you spend that next to last dollar!
This is what I call justice, but my (man)will be back in prison if he doesn't get stay away from trouble. As for this lady(evidance/property room) overseer that money can verywell be in her pocket. I didn't hear anything about that possiblity...Duh!
In reference to #6 if this is the case with the lobbist in DC why are they getting away with this? Some one needs to let the IRS in on this and audit these guys and gals bank accounts before and after their Pet project are added to the proposals they are holding out on for an extended period of time to gain so much money!!
After finding this extreme monetary misconduct of a trusted employee, you tell me why these higher ups are backing each other for a no-action approach and permitting another who signed-off on this un-documented activity a full retirement package without repremand of any kind?????
These people(leaders) are the ones we put our faith and trust in to do justice for all Durhamites regardless of their status!!!
I love the new location and service that DATA has offered,I failed to see the reason for the new route departure from it's current location.
It would be reasonable to re-route some of their departures to Chapel Hill& Main Street@ Five-points and continue as before from the old terminal for riders who may work or have business
in the immediate area of Main,Parrish,Chapel Hill,Foster and Rigsbee Steets.
The placing of Bus Stops W/shelters on these streets seems to me as a waste of much needed revenue. This suggestion needs to be revisited!!
