So it looks like there was a BLACK complainant who wrongfully fingered Daniels for the crime. There was a BLACK lawyer who failed to adequately defend him -- in fact, he did the prosecution's case for it. A lot of BLACK people in Daniels' neighborhood seem to have known the real story, but they wouldn't "snitch" to save Daniels. And somehow this is all whitey's fault? Btw, I don't see the part of the story where mobs of people gathered outside the Daniels' home with banners that said "CONFESS" and "CASTRATE". And did I miss the part where trial spectators shouted at Daniels "DEAD MAN WALKING!" No? No, this isn't like the Lacrosse Hoax at all. The Lacrosse Hoax was a citywide effort to frame three white boys. The Daniels case was a black-run hoax to get one bad boy off the street while protecting who knows how many others.
