Interesting article. I think that there must be a typo or misunderstanding with regard to the price paid to Finca Mauritania, though, since $1.60 per lb. is about 65 cents below what coffee is trading at right now on the New York Board of Trade. I'm guessing that CC pays $1.60 per lb above the New York C price?
Hey, I'm just a simple working man and not a theatre critic, but I don't know if you really "got" the play. Your criticism of not believing Fishell's Martha as she reacted to the news of her son's death, in particular, seems a little strange to me since, as far as I could tell, that was the moment in the play in which it becomes apparent that George and Martha never had a son. Also, your comment that "In the world of the play, tonight is not like any other night in George and Martha's house" seems to be contradicted by the text, which implies that they have done this before. Like I said, though, I'm a simple man who holds no degrees or distinctions. Perhaps I'm the one who didn't "get" it.
"Cry" isn't a 10cc song-- Godley and Creme were out of the band for like 10 years by that point.
Just wanted to mention that there is a 4th band (A is Jump) on the Nightlight bill for Saturday 01/17. I'm not sure what the Indy has against us, but this is the 3rd time we've played a show that's been written up and the article didn't even mention we were playing. Come early for loud, weird psych pop from Orange and Alamance counties.
