@Maria Isabel, Safe Haven was not aware that we were doing a story on the Goathouse Refuge. Our advertisers are not given the details of our editorial coverage.
Sarah, thanks for letting us know. We're working on the problem.
mmm, good question, wrong implicit conclusion. This sentence from my column above states our central intention: "Along the way, we hope to pull off an important balancing act—celebrating the unique qualities of these communities while simultaneously approaching the Triangle as a unified entity." We are all about the Triangle.
News and events -- even the baking of pizza -- however, happen in specific locations most of the time. We're trying to make that clearer, while publishing the same contents in all papers.
Thanks again for your question.
AC, if you looked past the cover of this week’s Indy, you would have found 6 news stories before you ever got to the pizza story. The news section has issues relevant to our entire readership.
As far as the pizza story goes, it is our special food issue so we wrote about food. Sorry you missed the point.
To all our readers, please note that the Best of the Triangle winners are open ended questions and any business or name can be submitted. The winners of each category are the businesses or names that have been submitted the most through our online Best of the Triangle survey.
