I have read Mark's history and found him to be unique in this respect: He has worked for what he has, UPS loading boxes (as I did) and paying his way through school. It is one thing to feel sorry for someone who has wrecked their life. It is quite another to assure that they don't drag the rest of us down. We have enough judges willing to turn the wolves out with the sheep. Vote for Mark.
Re: “Florida: The weirdest place in America—and a perfect stage for the GOP”
I have been a registered Republican ever since the Old North State Democratic Party split back in the 80's. Having spent my Wonder Bread years in the middle east, I am always stunned to hear the great support that Israel gets from the Christian Right in the South.
After all, the South is the only part of the country ever occupied by foreign troops. I would think our support would be for the Palestinians, their displacement a result of the meddling UN.
Newt;s talk about moving the embassy to Jerusalem would be the final straw. He is not the only one, nor is this foolish interference limited to Republicans!
When Obama was elected, I thought finally we have someone to stand up to the Israels. He lasted about six months.
I am registering as an independent.
