Re: “Voting myths debunked

Speaking of Absentee Ballots!

I am currently out of the country but received my ballot. There are a couple of problems: First, the instructions state to return the ballot in the "prepaid postage" envelope provided. However, the front of the envelope reads "postage required, post office will not deliver without proper postage".

I would hope that this is an error, nevertheless, this mistake could mean that many absentee ballots are not delivered.

More disturbing was the return address label on the back of the envelope, which shows not only my name, and address but also my PARTY AFFILIATION! (for every postal handler to view)

Perhaps this was also an "error". ??? Perhaps "the powers that be" assume people would not read the directions.

I still had to use the return envelope because the voter's and two witnesses' signatures are required, but I then mailed it in another envelope (that did not disclose party information).

Please encourage all voters sending absentee ballots via mail to ensure proper postage and PRIVACY to ensure their ballot is delivered.

EVERY VOTE MUST COUNT
