We've lived in Durham, NC for 3 years, have explored dining in Durham, downtown Chapel Hill and Carrboro, but the RTP dining scene was always a mystery. Thanks for clearing that up.

Our favorite RDU dining (before or after a flight) is Tower Indian Vegetarian just off Aviation Parkway (as it turns into Oak)

Go here for lunch buffet, amazing dosas and south indian food for the heart and soul.

Re: “The Refectory Cafe”

As of Oct. 2008, the Refectory Cafe is no longer open for dinner on Sundays. The website says their hours are 8:00am - 2:30pm daily.
