Pepper's pizza in Chapel Hill is and has always been vastly overrated. The people are great, the offerings are interesting, and I don't mind going there. But I much prefer Artisan Pizza Kitchen, some 20 doors down from Pepper's on Franklin Street. They really know how to make pizza.
I don't really understand why the indy would just go to twenty places. You should've sent five writers twice a week to every single pizza shop in the triangle. I don't care if this would've taken three years. it would be better than not including some of the staples of the area in your rankings, especially Randy's in Durham, Alfredo's and Artisan in Chapel Hill, and LIlly's in Raleigh.
And grease. Sorry. pizza rankings should be solely based on taste and maybe a bit of texture.
Um, Hal Crowther wasn't saying that the only reason to vote for Obama was that he's black, and because he's black he'll be a wonderful president. He's saying that it's stupid to vote against Obama because he's black. He's saying that because of who Obama is, the rest of the world will see the United States in a better light. This is obvious to me. But if you want to boil down this election to a few core issues that mean the most to you, fine. And we will once again elect the sort of president that a selfish electorate desires.
Re: “Huh-za! The great pizza adventure begins...”
Your writers missed the best places in Chapel Hill--Alfredo's and Artisan Pizza Kitchen.
