To clarify, the estimated cost of the program is not $25K. They approved $25K for this budget year. When they do the 2009 budget, they will have an idea of how many will participate and allocated funds accordingly. Second, you write "Last month, only Wolff and one other citizen publicly opposed it." I and others submitted comments to the Council againt the program and they are part of the public record. Also, I wrote an op-ed piece that was published in the Chapel Hill Herald on May 24th. I think a correction is in order, Lisa.

From her explanation, it reads like her resignation was about her poorly chosen words about people that many found unfortunate and unacceptable. How is this about criticizing the "plan's development?"
