I'm switching jobs in a week, and will start biking to work--looking forward to it! I still drive a car occasionally though, and I know the Indy's upcoming article on bike culture will point out that car drivers need to be more aware and drive safely. I hope that the story also reminds bikers that they are vehicles as well, and need to drive safely and obey traffic laws. While I've felt I was in danger while riding my bike on roads due to careless drivers, I've also had many instances where I almost had a collision with a biker when I was driving safely and the biker was being extremely careless. I've seen more than a few bikers who don't heed the traffic rules, run red lights, weave through traffic, and generally behave as a vehicle when it suits their needs and as a pedestrian when it suits them. It takes cooperation from all vehicles on the road to produce a safer transporation environment, and it helps nobody when anybody drives arrogantly, car or bike.
Re: “PT Scarborough brings improv abandon to bad movies”
This is the funniest show EVER! You really have to be there and experience it to really get the genius of PT Scarborough and the whole movie-dubbing concept. Once you see the show, you'll understand and be laughing with the rest of us. Come see it either tonight or next Friday!!!!
