I can only hope that the legislators will seriously consider clarifying and improving this law so that the intended consequence -- the support of public programming -- will come to pass. There's no reason for the cable companies to fight this, and we citizens rely on public programming to give us the basic, grassroots scoop on things. Go PEG! Go Peoples Channel!
