Re: “A sister and brother, one undocumented, one legal, live starkly different lives

Dee: Sorry.....We need to FORCE all of the illegals to leave by taking away all jobs, welfare, foodstamps, WIC, non-emergency medical, tuition discouts/assistance---just like Arizona, Georgia, Oklahoma, Missouri, Indiana, etc. is doing!!!----The illegals can demand their rights, benefits, respect---once they get back to their own countries. Comprehensive Immigration Reform is NOT going to pass---it has less chance of passing now than it did before!! Since the first time that they tried it---thousands of US citizens have been awakened and became part of the majority in this country who do NOT want to reward/accommodate the illegals in any way.

Re: “A sister and brother, one undocumented, one legal, live starkly different lives

LSL: Nope, sorry....I have a master's degree in business...Therefore, I have taken MANY economics, finance, and business classes....Only an uneducated IDIOT would not understand the laws of supply and demand....If you have millions of illegal invaders here who are willing to do plumbing work for $7 an hour---why would a business hire a US citizen at $15 an hour with benefits??---If you have millions of illegal invaders here who will do landscaping work for $7 an hour---why would an employer hire a US citizen at $15 an hour with benefits, etc.----Fortunately, "YOU" and the clueless people who think like you---are not the majority in the country!! The majority in the country stopped Comprehensive Immigration Reform, the Dream Act, drivers' licenses for illegals, etc.----And, our numbers are growin each day---as more and more citizens "WAKE UP" regarding this issue.----You need to be like Lisa and the others----"walk the talk"---don't just "talk the talk". Adopt some illegal families to live in your house. You need to donate X amount out of each of your paychecks to support the illegal invaders----because the majority in our country DO NOT want one dime of our money/taxes going toward the illegal invaders anymore!!!

Re: “A sister and brother, one undocumented, one legal, live starkly different lives

Lisa: I am just curious....Are you doing your part to accommodate/support the illegal invaders?? How many do you have living with you?? How much of each of your paychecks are you donating to support the illegal invaders?? After all, don't just "talk the talk"---you need to "walk the talk". Just because the majority in the state/country do not want to accommodate and support the illegals---that doesn't mean that you and all of the other illegal supporters cannot do so. There is no reason why you can't have a family or two living with you in your house, your garage, your backyard, etc. There should be nothing that you are afraid of---because they are just poor illegals, looking for a better life----and who cares what it does to US citizens, their children or grandchildren. Come on Lisa and others, talk is cheap. Lead by example---adopt a family or two of illegals today!!! Put them up in your home, and support them with your paychecks---because the MAJORITY in the state/country do NOT want to. We are a country of laws. We do NOT reward those who have broken our laws----and give them an advantage by letting them jump in front of the line----of the millions of people throughout the world who are trying to come into our country through the proper, legal process. Or, are you one of the uneducated/unimformed who think that we can let the world come here---and we should all sit in a circle---holding hands and singing Kumbaya----as we pick money off of the money trees???

Re: “A sister and brother, one undocumented, one legal, live starkly different lives

Illegals are NOT refugees. There are millions of people throughout the world who have been waiting in line, trying to come into the country through the proper, legal process. We cannot take in the world---and we should NOT reward the ILLEGALS for breaking our laws---letting them jump in front of the line of everyone who is trying to come here the proper way. As was mentioned earlier---feel free to house and support as many illegals as "YOU" want to---but the majority in this country do NOT want to!!!---They can go back to their own countries, apply and get in line just like the other people throughout the world. Or, "YOU" can house and support them!!---The majority in our state/country are going to DEMAND that the illegals be forced to leave by taking away all jobs, welfare, WIC, foodstamps, etc. Just as what has been done in Missouri, Arizona, Oklahoma, Georgia, parts of Virginia, Texas, etc. As you can see---Indiana and New Jersey are getting ready to pass the same laws as well. Soon, illegals will have NO PLACE to hide.

Immigration vote today puts House in spotlight--- Backers say bill has bipartisan support to pass--- Dan McFeely Indystar February 28, 2008--- "Indiana State lawmakers are poised to cast a historic vote today on illegal immigration reform.--- Right behind property taxes, cracking down on immigration is at the top of most voters' lists," said House Minority Leader Brian Bosma, R-Indianapolis. "For some, it's the most important issue.---- Delph's bill would target Indiana employers that hire illegal immigrants, punishing them in a series of three steps that could end with the revocation of a business license. A similar law in Arizona was recently upheld in a federal court as constitutional."---- Cont'd through link........ http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080228/LOCAL/802280467

Way Cleared for Enforcement of Employer Sanctions Law---February 29th, 2008 @ 11:27am by Kevin Tripp/KTAR---"Prosecutions under Arizona's employers sanction law may begin as early as Saturday.---The law imposes tough restrictions on businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants. It took effect Jan. 1, but has been on hold because of legal challenges. On Thursday, the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied a request by business groups for an injunction to block prosecutions, pending further appeals."---Entire article through link...http://ktar.com/?nid=6&sid=748954

Federal judge: Law penalizing businesses that hire illegals OK==='You are going to see this decision quoted by cities across the country'--- Posted: February 2, 2008 8:05 p.m. Eastern 2008 WorldNetDaily.com----"The right of a small town in Missouri to deal with the cost and crime caused by the influx of illegal aliens has been upheld by a federal judge who ruled the community's ordinance penalizing local companies that hire undocumented workers is not pre-empted by federal law, does not discriminate against Hispanics and does not violate due-process rights or state law."---Cont'd through link..... http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=60016
